About Kyle

Kyle is a community-rooted leader with deep ties to Burke County and a proven track record of small-business leadership and civic engagement. Born, raised, and living in Western North Carolina his entire life, he understands the challenges facing everyday North Carolinians — from small businesses to families, front-line workers to rural communities.

As a local business owner in Morganton, he has witnessed firsthand how economic, health, and infrastructure issues affect working families — and he’s running for North Carolina State Senate (District 46) to bring practical, people-centered solutions to Raleigh.

Core Priorities

1. Fair and Independent Redistricting
Kyle supports the creation of an independent, non-partisan commission to draw North Carolina’s legislative and congressional maps. He believes that elections should be decided by voters — not by politicians picking their voters.

2. Healthcare Reform for All North Carolinians
Access to quality, affordable healthcare shouldn’t depend on zip code or income. Kyle will work to strengthen healthcare access across the state, reduce costs, and ensure that families and small businesses aren’t left behind by rising medical expenses.

3. Hurricane Helene Recovery and Relief
After the devastation from Hurricane Helene, Kyle is committed to making sure relief funds reach the individuals and communities most impacted — not get stuck in bureaucracy. He’ll push for transparent distribution mechanisms and targeted support to families, farms, and small businesses in need. (Hurricane Helene caused severe flooding and widespread damage in western NC, triggering major recovery efforts.)

Why This Matters to District 46

North Carolina’s 46th Senate District has been represented by Republican Warren Daniel since 2011, with a voter base spread across Burke, McDowell, and part of Buncombe counties. Kyle offers an alternative vision — one focused on fairness, opportunity, and people-first governance. His lived experience in the district and deep small-business roots make him a strong voice for families and workers seeking accountable representation in the State Senate.
