The Young Democrats of the Blue Ridge is a regional chapter of the YDNC. The Young Democrats of North Carolina (YDNC) serve as the official youth arm of the North Carolina Democratic Party (NCDP). The vision of the Young Democrats of North Carolina is to make North Carolina a better place by promoting its issues, its young people, and the spirit of the Democratic Party.

We serve as an advocate for Veterans’ rights and concerns, and full participation within the political process. We support the election of Democratic candidates, especially Veterans. We encourage the appointment of Democratic Veterans or family members to serve on boards and commissions at all governmental levels, educate the public, candidates and public officials regarding Veterans’ issues and serve as a forum for discussion and formulating positions on issues of importance to the Veterans and Military Family Democrats of Burke County, with special attention to under-acknowledged military spouses.
We are the Democratic Women of Burke County, a county chapter of the DWNC. The Democratic Women of North Carolina is dedicated to engaging women with the work of the Democratic Party. We work to get women to vote, support women who run for office, and work to get Democrats up and down the ticket elected (especially if they are women!). We also represent the voice of the women of North Carolina to the North Carolina Democratic Party.
